Dark chocolate, creamy avocado base, and maple syrup. So rich and creamy, I promise you won't even know you are eating avocados.
2 very ripe avocados
4 oz. 70% baking chocolate
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. almond milk/milk
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. cinnamon
sea salt to taste
Optional toppings: whip cream, berries, nuts, red pepper
Melt chocolate in a microwaveable container at 50 percent power; stirring every minute until smooth. Approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
In a food processor, add avocados, melted chocolate, cocoa, maple syrup, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Puree until smooth, pausing at times to scrape the sides
Divide mousse into 4 separate bowls, cover, and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Mousse can be served with whip cream, berries, or cayenne pepper.
